ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Solo diving

Solo diving is when someone goes underwater by themselves, without a scuba diving buddy. It's like playing alone instead of playing with someone else.

But just like when you play alone, solo diving can be tricky and dangerous if you don't know what you're doing. That's why people need to be very experienced and get special training before they can solo dive.

When you're underwater by yourself, you have to remember to check everything. You need to make sure your gear is working correctly, you have enough air to breathe, and you know where you are going. You can't rely on a buddy to help you out if something goes wrong.

So, with solo diving, you get to explore and experience things without anyone else around. But it's important to be careful and make sure you're fully prepared before going underwater alone.
