Sororicide is when someone kills their sister or sister-like figure, such as a close female friend. It can be a physical, emotional, or verbal act of violence. It's usually a terrible thing and usually very wrong. People usually think of sororicide as something very serious, because it can be very damaging, emotionally, to those involved.
