Southern Romance languages

Southern Romance languages are languages that used to be spoken in the southern part of Europe. They come from the same family of languages as Spanish, Italian and French. Southern Romance languages have changed over time and many of them are not spoken anymore. Examples of old Southern Romance languages include Catalan, Occitan, Aragonese and Galician.
