Spatha

Okay kiddo, so a spatha is a type of sword that was used a long time ago in ancient Rome. It was longer than the usual sword and had a straight blade.

Now, back then, soldiers always needed to have a weapon to protect themselves and their country. And the spatha was really good for that because it could reach farther and strike harder than the normal sword.

The spatha had a sharp edge so that it could cut through things easily. And some spathas even had a pointy end that could go through armor or shields.

Nowadays, people don't really use spathas anymore because we have more advanced weapons. But they were really important in ancient times and helped shape history as we know it!
