Spatial cognition is a type of thinking that helps us remember where things are and how to find our way around. For example, when you're walking around your neighborhood, your spatial cognition helps you remember where different places are and how to get to where you need to go. It also helps you to picture things in your mind that might not be in front of you. Spatial cognition helps you remember what a friend’s house looks like, the layout of your school, or the path you take to get to the store. It's like having a map inside of your head, so you can always find your way.
