Spatial filter

A spatial filter is like a big net with small holes in it. It is used to keep some things from getting through, while letting other things through. It can be used to block out the sun from a window, or to keep bigger animals away from a smaller area. Spatial filters are also used in photography and video to control how light gets into a lens and helps create the desired image.
