Spatial-temporal reasoning is like using your imagination to understand how things can move and change over time. For example, if you wanted to play a game where you try to catch a ball you would use your spatial-temporal reasoning to think about how fast the ball is moving and where you need to be to catch it. Another example would be thinking about how a car moves over time on a road. You would need to use your spatial-temporal reasoning to imagine which direction the car will go, how fast it will move, and when to turn the steering wheel to make the car move the way you want it to.
