Spaying

Spaying is a way to make sure that girl dogs and cats can't have babies. It's a surgery that a doctor does to take out the part of the girl dog's or cat's body that lets them make babies. This part is called the uterus and the ovaries. When the girl dog or cat has this surgery, they can't have any babies anymore. This is a good thing because it helps animals not to have too many babies that can't get homes or be taken care of. It also prevents some health problems that they can get if they don't have the surgery.
