Spinal adjustment

Okay kiddo, so you know how your back is made up of lots of bones called vertebrae, right? Well sometimes those bones can get a little bit out of place and that can cause pain or discomfort.

Spinal adjustment is when someone, like a chiropractor or a physical therapist, uses their hands or a special tool to gently move those vertebrae back into their proper position.

It might sound scary, but it usually doesn't hurt and can actually help your back feel a lot better! Think of it like when someone gives you a little push on the swing to help you go higher - the spinal adjustment is like giving your back a little push to help it feel better.

It's important to only have a spinal adjustment done by a trained professional who knows how to do it safely and correctly. And as always, it's a good idea to talk to your parents or a doctor before trying any new treatment for your back.
