Okay kiddo, have you ever played with some sand and made a line with it that spirals around and around? Well, imagine making that spiral really big, like as big as a whole football field! That's kind of what the Spiral Jetty is like.
The Spiral Jetty is a giant sculpture made by a man named Robert Smithson. It's located in a big lake in the state of Utah in the United States. The sculpture is made of rocks and mud that were piled up into a big spiral shape that goes all the way into the water of the lake.
What's cool about the Spiral Jetty is that it looks different depending on when you visit it. Sometimes the water covers part of the spiral, sometimes there are birds or animals around it, sometimes it's really sunny, and other times it's cloudy and gray. So, it's like a big changing art project!
A lot of people take trips to visit the Spiral Jetty because it's so unique and interesting to see. People also like to take pictures and movies of it. So, maybe one day you can go there and see it for yourself!
