ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Spoke-hub distribution paradigm

Imagine you have a group of friends who all want to travel to different places, but they all want to meet up in the same city at some point. You need to figure out how to get everyone to the same city without having each person travel individually.

To solve this problem, you decide to use a spoke-hub distribution paradigm.

Basically, you choose one central location (the "hub") where everyone will meet up. From there, you have different routes that lead to various destinations (the "spokes").

For example, if your central location is New York City, then you might have spokes that lead to Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, and Seattle. Each friend can then choose which spoke they want to take to get to their desired destination, but they all end up at the same hub location eventually.

This concept is used in many different industries, such as transportation, logistics, and even in computer networking. It helps to streamline processes and make things more efficient by consolidating resources and creating a centralized location for operations.
