Springside is a big area of land that belonged to a man named Matthew Vassar a long time ago. It's kind of like a big, fancy park with lots of trees and plants that you can walk around in and enjoy nature. There are also big, beautiful houses and other buildings there that were built a very long time ago. People like to visit Springside because it's a really special place where they can feel peaceful and relaxed.
