When you feel uncomfortable or restless, you may start to move around a lot. This is called squirming. It's kinda like when you sit in class for a long time and your bum gets sore, so you wiggle in your seat to try to get comfortable. Or when your mom asks you to sit still while she brushes your hair and you just can't help fidgeting around. When you squirm, you're just trying to get comfortable or ease some discomfort.
