ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Stackable switch

Okay, imagine you have a bunch of toys that you want to organize neatly. You can line them up in a row, one after the other, but they might get messy and it will be hard to find the one you want to play with.

A stackable switch is like a container that you can put all your toys into, and they will be neatly organized and easy to find. The switch lets you connect lots of different devices, like computers or printers, all together so they can talk to each other and share information.

But, unlike a regular switch, a stackable switch lets you stack it on top of other switches just like how you can stack your toys on top of each other. This way, you can connect even more devices together, without taking up too much space.

So, it's like a neat and tidy toy organizer that makes it easy to find and play with any toy you want, without having to dig through a big messy pile.
