Alright kiddo, have you ever heard of something called pornography? It's pictures or videos that show people doing things that normal people usually do not see because it is private.
Now, a long time ago in 1969, a man named Stanley was caught by the police for having some of those pictures in his home. The police thought that was bad and wanted to punish him, but Stanley didn't want to get in trouble.
So, they argued in front of the Supreme Court, which is a special court that hears important cases. The question was whether Stanley should be punished for having those pictures or not.
And the Supreme Court decided that, even though the pictures might be bad, it was not the government's job to tell people what they could or couldn't watch in their own homes. So, they made a rule that people had the right to look at whatever they wanted in their own homes, as long as it didn't hurt anyone else.
That rule is now called the Stanley v. Georgia decision.
