Star of India (flag)

The Star of India is the name of the emblem present in the center of the Indian flag, which is a symbol of India's freedom and independence. The emblem has four small lions, each with one paw raised, sitting back to back and mounted on an abacus with a frieze carrying sculptures in high relief of an elephant, a galloping horse, a bull, and a lion separated by intervening spaces with figures of the chakra, a wheel with 24 spokes, in the center, a surya, a depiction of the sun, and a moon.

In simpler terms, the Star of India is the picture in the middle of the Indian flag. It has four little lions, some other animals and shapes in the background, and a circle with 24 lines and the sun and moon in the center. It's a special symbol that represents the freedom and history of India.
