ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Statements true in L

Okay kiddo, let me explain it in a way that will be very easy for you to understand.

You know how you sometimes tell the truth and sometimes you don't, right? Well, in something called "logic," we also have statements that can either be true or false.

For example, if I say "the sky is blue," that's a true statement in most cases. But if I say "the sky is black," that's a false statement because we know that the sky is usually blue.

Now, in something called "logical programming," which is like telling a computer what to do, we need to use statements that are true so that the computer can understand what we're saying. These statements are called "statements true in l."

So when we're writing code for a computer, we have to make sure that the statements we use are true, or else the computer will get confused and won't know what we want it to do.

That's it, kiddo! I hope that was easy to understand.
