Stein manifold

A Stein manifold is a type of mathematical space that is like a curved surface or shape. It is named after the German mathematician Hermann Stein, who studied these kinds of spaces. A Stein manifold is often thought of as the "inside" of a shape, with the points on the manifold being kind of like the points that make up the shape. Just like a circle is made up of many points, a Stein manifold is made up of many points too. The difference is that Stein manifolds aren't perfectly round like circles, so each point on the manifold is connected to the others in a curved way. The points are connected by a mathematical relationship, rather than a physical one like on a circle. Stein manifolds can have a lot of different shapes, and can be used to describe complex mathematics.
