Stele of Sulaiman

The Stele of Sulaiman is a big stone with writing on it that was made a very long time ago in ancient Arabia. It is like a message from a king named Sulaiman who ruled a long time ago.

Imagine if you were a king and you wanted everyone to know about your rules and how great you were, but you didn't have internet or phones to talk to people all around the world. What would you do? You would create something like the Stele of Sulaiman, which would tell everyone what you wanted them to know.

On the Stele, Sulaiman talked about how he was in charge of his kingdom and how he helped his people. He also talked about his religion and how he worshipped a god named Athtar.

People who study the past, called archaeologists, found the Stele and studied it so we can learn more about what life was like a long time ago. It's like a puzzle that helps us understand what the world was like a really long time ago!
