Stepping (African-American)

Stepping is a way of making music and dancing at the same time. It started with African-American fraternities and sororities in the United States. Everyone in the group makes a sound with their feet, hands, and voice to make the music. They practice a lot to make sure they are all doing the same thing at the same time. It's kind of like playing a game, but with music and dancing. People like to watch stepping because it looks really cool and it takes a lot of skill to do it right.
