Stinging plant

A stinging plant is a plant that can hurt you when you touch it. It has tiny little hairs on it called "stingers" that stick into your skin and can make you feel itchy or hurt.

Imagine you're walking in the forest and you see a plant with small fuzzy leaves. You think it looks soft and nice to touch, so you reach out to feel it. But when you touch it, you suddenly feel a sharp sting! Ouch!

That's because those tiny hairs on the plant stuck into your skin and released a little bit of poison. It's like getting a tiny shot of medicine, but it can hurt a lot more than that!

Some stinging plants can even make you feel sick or dizzy if you touch them, so it's important to be very careful when exploring new areas of the forest or garden. Always listen to adults who tell you not to touch strange plants!
