Moon rocks are pieces of rocks from the Moon that were collected by astronauts during the Apollo 11, 12, 14 and 15 missions in 1969-72. When the astronauts returned to Earth, they brought the samples back with them for researchers to study and learn more about the Moon. Unfortunately, some of these special Moon rocks have been stolen or have gone missing over the years. This means that some of the rocks from the Moon are no longer in the possession of researchers or scientists and can't be used to learn more about the Moon. It's very sad that these important pieces of history are now missing and scientists won't be able to learn from them.
