Stop Tax Haven Abuse Act

The Stop Tax Haven Abuse Act is a law in the United States that makes it illegal for companies to avoid paying taxes by hiding money in overseas accounts. It forces companies to be honest about where they have their money and makes sure that all taxes owed are paid. Hiding or 'sheltering' money in overseas accounts is called tax evasion and is against the law. The Stop Tax Haven Abuse Act makes sure that companies can't get away with this kind of illegal behavior, which would allow them to keep more of their profits that should go to the government. This law helps to protect the American people and make sure companies are paying their fair share of taxes.
