Strabismus surgery

Strabismus is when your eyes can't look at the same thing at the same time. This can make it hard to see things right, and it can also make it hard to see depth or distance. Strabismus surgery is a type of surgery that can help fix this problem.

During the surgery, the doctor will make a very tiny cut on the part of your eye that controls where it looks. The doctor will then move the muscles that control your eye's movements to try to make the eyes look at the same thing at the same time.

After the surgery, you might need to wear a patch or use special glasses to help your eyes get used to working together. It might take some time for your eyes to start working properly again, but with some help and lots of patience, your eyes can learn to work together and see the world as it was meant to be seen!
