ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Strategic Management

Strategic management is like when a football team picks the best players and puts them in the right positions on the field. The team is like a business, the players are like employees, and the positions on the field are like the jobs those employees do. The coach (manager) has a plan and makes sure everyone works together to help the team (business) to win. So strategic management is when a manager has a plan and helps the employees do their jobs so the business can be successful.
