Student teacher

A student teacher is like a big brother or sister who comes to your school to learn how to be a teacher. They already went to school to learn how to teach, but now they need to practice in a real classroom with real kids!

The student teacher is usually someone who is in college or university and wants to be a teacher when they grow up. They decide to become a student teacher so they can learn even more about how to be a good teacher.

The student teacher will work with your regular teacher to plan lessons and activities. They will also help teach the class and answer your questions. You might work with the student teacher one-on-one or in small groups to practice reading or math skills.

It’s important to be kind and patient with the student teacher because they’re still learning too. Remember that they’re trying their best to help you learn and have fun in the classroom. Sometimes they might make mistakes or need help from your regular teacher, but that’s okay.

At the end of their time as a student teacher, they will have learned a lot about teaching and will be ready to become a full-time teacher someday. You can feel proud that you helped them learn!
