ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Studio executive

Okay kiddo, so you know how when people make movies or TV shows, they need some people to help them make decisions and make sure everything goes smoothly? Those people are called studio executives.

It's kinda like when you have a big project to do at school, like making a poster about a book you read. Your teacher might choose some students to be "executives" and help make sure the project gets done well. They might decide things like what color paper to use, how big the poster should be, and who will draw the pictures.

Studio executives do kind of the same thing, but with movies and TV shows. They help decide which stories to turn into movies or shows, how much money to spend on them, and who should be in them. They also make sure everything runs smoothly during the filming process, and help promote the movies or shows so people will want to watch them.

So, in short, studio executives are like the bosses who help make movies and TV shows happen!
