Stunt double

Have you ever watched a movie or a TV show where someone was doing a really dangerous or exciting action scene? Like maybe they were jumping off a tall building or driving a fast car? Well, sometimes the actor or actress who plays that character in the scene isn't actually doing the action themselves! That's where a stunt double comes in.

A stunt double is someone who looks like the actor or actress and is hired to do the dangerous or exciting action scenes for them. They spend a lot of time practicing those stunts to make sure they can do them safely and without getting hurt. When it's time to film the scene, the actor or actress steps out and the stunt double steps in to make it look like they are doing the action instead.

Stunt doubles are very important because even though the scenes might look cool, they can also be very dangerous if not done correctly. So, the actor or actress stays safe while still looking like they are doing the dangerous thing. It's kind of like having someone do your homework for you, but in a more extreme and physical way!

Overall, stunt doubles are the unsung heroes of the movie and TV industry, making sure our favorite performers are kept safe while still bringing us exciting action scenes to enjoy.
