ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sudatorium

A sudatorium is a special room that people go to in order to sweat. It might sound weird to want to sweat on purpose, but sweating is actually really good for you! When you sweat, you're getting rid of toxins and impurities in your body, and it can also help you relax and feel better overall.

In a sudatorium, you sit in a room that's kept very warm and humid. It might be kind of like a sauna, but not quite as hot. You might be sitting on a bench or a chair, and you'll probably be wearing a towel or a thin robe so you don't get too hot. Some sudatoriums also have special herbs or oils that are added to the room to make the experience even more relaxing and therapeutic.

As you sit in the sudatorium, your body will start to sweat. You might feel a little uncomfortable at first, but as your body gets used to the heat, you'll start to feel more relaxed and calm. Some people even fall asleep in the sudatorium because it's so soothing!

When you're done in the sudatorium, you'll want to take a shower or wash off to get rid of all the sweat and impurities that have come out of your body. Many people find that they feel much better after a sudatorium session, and some even do it on a regular basis to keep their bodies healthy and happy. It might seem a little weird to want to sit in a hot, sweaty room, but if you give it a try, you might find that you love it!
