Sun-Earth Day
Sun-Earth Day is a special day when we celebrate our amazing sun and its connections to the planet Earth. On this day, we learn about the important role the sun plays in our lives and how it affects the Earth.
Okay, so imagine that you have a really big lightbulb, like the ones you see in streetlights. This lightbulb is called the Sun, and it is incredibly huge and incredibly bright. It is also very far away from us, much farther than anything you have ever seen.

But the Sun also sends out something called solar flares and other kinds of energy that can be dangerous to us on Earth.
Scientists study the Sun and its interactions with Earth all the time, and Sun-Earth Day is a chance for everyone to learn more about this amazing relationship. We can learn about how the Sun affects the weather, climate, and even our technology. We can also learn about how we can protect ourselves from the harmful effects of the Sun's energy.
