Sun-Maid

So, you know how we eat raisins sometimes? Well, Sun-Maid is a company that makes those raisins and other dried fruits like apricots and cranberries. They get the grapes or fruits from farmers and then they dry them out so they last longer and we can enjoy them as a snack. Sun-Maid has been doing this for a really long time - since 1912! They even have a lady on their logo named Lorraine Collett Petersen who used to be a real person. She became famous for being the "Sun-Maid Girl" in their ads. So, when we see the Sun-Maid logo, we know they make yummy dried fruits for us to snack on!
