Super League war
Okay kiddo, do you know what a super league is? It's a league for the best rugby teams in Australia. But a long time ago, in 1995, some of the teams and their bosses didn't like the rules of the super league and wanted to make their own rules.
So they made a new super league and told the other teams to join them, but the original super league didn't like that. They were angry because they thought the new super league was trying to steal their players and fans.
This started a big war between the two super leagues and it went on for a long time. The fans were angry too because they didn't know which league to support and they didn't like the idea of having to choose between their favorite teams.
The war went on for a few years until finally, the two super leagues decided to merge and become one big super league. So now there's only one super league and all the teams play by the same rules.
