ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Super refraction

Super refraction is when light is bent in an unusual way. It's like when you have a straw in a glass of water and it looks like the straw is bent. That's because of something called refraction. With super refraction, it's bending the light even more. It's like when you put a spoon in a glass of water and it looks like the spoon is broken. That's because the light is being bent even more and it makes it look funny.
