Supercavitation

Supercavitation is a way to help a boat or submarine move faster. It works by creating a bubble of air around the boat or submarine. The air acts as a cushion and it reduces the amount of friction on the boat or submarine. So instead of moving slowly through the water, the boat or submarine is able to zip along quickly like it's flying over the water. That's why it's called supercavitation: the air bubble makes it seem like the boat or submarine is super fast!
