Supply Chain Management is like a big factory made up of many different pieces. It is usually made up of companies that work together to create a product. First, the companies need to find suppliers (people who will give them the materials they need to make the product). Then, they need to make sure the materials get to their factory in the right amounts, on time, and in good condition. Once the materials are in the factory, the companies will use machines and people to make the product. After that, it needs to be shipped to stores and warehouses, so that customers can buy it. Finally, once customers buy the product, the companies need to make sure it gets to them in a timely manner and that the customer is satisfied. Supply Chain Management helps the companies work together to make sure all of these parts are working correctly.
