Surface mail

Surface mail is a way of sending things like letters, packages, and other things from one place to another. It's called "surface" because it travels on the ground rather than through the air. Think of when you watch a car driving on the road - that's a surface mode of transportation.

When you send something using surface mail, it usually takes longer to get there than if you sent it by a faster method like air mail. This is because the package or letter has to travel by ground, which can take more time. It's like when you walk to the park, it takes longer than if you ride your bike.

Surface mail can include different forms of transportation too, like trucks, trains, and boats. So, your letter or package may have to travel on all three forms of transportation before it reaches its destination.

Because it takes longer for your stuff to get there with surface mail, it's usually cheaper than other forms of shipping. So if you're not in a hurry to send something far away, surface mail could be a good option for you.
