Surface-to-surface missile

Okay kiddo, a surface-to-surface missile is like a really big and powerful rocket that can go from one place on the ground to another place on the ground.

Imagine you have a toy car that you can drive around on the floor. Now imagine that car can go really far away, like all the way across the room to where your toys are piled up.

A surface-to-surface missile is like that, but way bigger and stronger. It is built to go really fast and really far so it can hit a target that is far away. It is kind of like the rockets you see going up into space on TV, but instead it stays close to the ground and goes straight to its target.

Sometimes, these missiles are used for defense, like if someone is attacking a country and they need to fight back. Other times, they are used as weapons, like if a country wants to attack another country that they don't like.

But remember, these missiles are very dangerous and can cause a lot of damage. So, it's important not to play with them or use them as toys.
