Surreal number

Surreal numbers are a type of number that was invented by the mathematician John Conway. They are like a combination of ordinary numbers (also called real numbers) and imaginary numbers. Surreal numbers are a way to make math easier because they give us a way to write numbers that you can’t write using real numbers. For example, you can write the number 0.5 (half) using surreal numbers by writing the number “½”.
