ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Sustainable market orientation

Sustainable market orientation is when businesses think about how to make their practices sustainable in the long-term. This means they think about the environment, and the effects their actions have on it. It also means they think about the effects their decisions have on their customers, employees, and their community. For example, they might look for ways to reduce waste and use renewable energy, or they might find ways to give back to their community. The end goal is to run their businesses in a way that will benefit everyone now and in the future.
