Swedish Academy

The Swedish Academy is a group of grown-up people who decide which person writes the best books and poems. They give an award called the Nobel Prize in Literature to the person who they think did the best job. It's like when your teacher picks the best student in class for a special award, but for writers who are super good at writing stories and poems that everyone likes to read. The Swedish Academy has been choosing the winner for a really long time, since 1901!
