Swing revival

Okay little one, do you know what a swing dance is? It's a dance that became really popular in the 1930s and 1940s - it's a fun, energetic kind of dance where the couple sort of bounces around to fast-paced music. People loved to swing dance back then, but eventually, the popularity of that kind of music died down a bit.

But in the 1990s, something interesting started to happen - people started getting interested in swing music again! They started to remember how fun it was, and they wanted to dance to it again. Soon enough, lots of new bands started to form, playing swing music and putting their own spin on it. They started playing in small clubs and bars at first, but pretty soon, the popularity began to grow.

And that's what we call the Swing Revival - it was a time in the 1990s when lots of people got interested in swing music and dance again, and it became really popular all over again. People loved the kind of dancing that went along with swing music, and they started dressing up in vintage clothing to match the style of the music too. It was a really fun time, and you could go to a club and dance all night long to this kind of music!
