Swingnose crossing

A swingnose crossing is like a big puzzle piece that helps different trains move safely over each other's tracks. Imagine you have two train tracks going in two different directions, like two trains passing each other. But sometimes, one train needs to move onto the other track to switch directions, and that's where the swingnose crossing comes in.

It's called a "swingnose" because one part of it can move like a nose, or a hinge, to help the trains switch tracks.
