Swiss sausages and cured meats

Okay kiddo, do you know what a sausage is? It's like a long tube made out of meat that you can eat.

Swiss sausages are special sausages that are made in Switzerland. They are often made out of pork meat mixed with spices and herbs like garlic, coriander, and cumin.

Cured meats are also popular in Switzerland. Curing is a way of preserving meat so that it lasts longer. It involves rubbing the meat with salt, sometimes sugar or other spices, and letting it dry for a period of time. The salt draws out the moisture in the meat, which makes it harder for bacteria to grow and spoil the meat.

Some famous Swiss cured meats are prosciutto, which is a type of ham, and bündnerfleisch, which is thinly sliced beef that has been cured with a blend of spices.

People in Switzerland love their sausages and cured meats, and they often eat them with bread, cheese, and pickles. It's a yummy way to enjoy meat that lasts longer and tastes great!
