Sydenham's chorea

Sydenham's chorea is a medical condition where your body may shake and move without you meaning to. It happens to some people who have a certain kind of infection. This kind of infection can make your immune system go a little wonky, which means that it attacks the wrong things in your body. It specifically targets your brain, which controls everything you do. This can make your muscles twitch and move around by themselves, a bit like when you're shivering when you're cold. Sometimes it can make it hard to do everyday things like eating and writing. But the good news is that it usually goes away on its own after a while, and there are treatments that can help.
