Symbols of Francoism

Okay, so back a long time ago, there was a guy named Franco who was in charge of Spain. Francoism means the things he and his followers believed in.

Now, some of the things they liked to use to show their beliefs were symbols. Symbols are like pictures or words that stand for something else. So, kind of like how a heart means love, the symbols of Francoism meant things like power and control.

Some of these symbols were flags with certain colors and designs, like red and yellow stripes. Others included eagles and coats of arms, which are like special symbols for families or countries.

But not everyone liked these symbols or what they stood for. Some people thought they were bad and wanted to use different symbols instead. It's kind of like how some kids might like the color blue and some might like pink - everyone has different opinions on what they like and what they think is important.
