Synthetic genetic array

A synthetic genetic array (SGA) is a way of changing the genes of cells so that they behave differently. Think of it like a toolbox that scientists use to mix up different genes. First, scientists take a gene from a cell and break it apart. Then, they mix those pieces with genes from other cells to create a new gene. The new gene is then placed in a cell and the cell starts to behave differently. It's like having a bunch of toy parts and using them to make a new toy. The new toy looks different and behaves differently. That's how SGA works!
