Syria-Lebanon campaign

Okay, so have you ever played pretend war games where you have to protect your "base" from the other team?

Well, a long time ago, big countries played a real war game. One of these games was called the Syria-Lebanon Campaign.

In this game, one big country called France wanted to keep control (or protect) of two other countries called Syria and Lebanon. But there was another big country called Germany who wanted to take over those two countries.

So, France sent their army to protect Syria and Lebanon from Germany's army. It was a really big fight that lasted for a few months, and many people got hurt or even died.

But in the end, France won the game and kept control of Syria and Lebanon.
