ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

TOXMAP

Toxmap is like a really cool map that helps us see where different dangerous chemicals are around us. You know how sometimes we have to be careful not to drink something that says "poison" on the label? Toxmap helps us see where those kinds of things are around our homes, schools, or playgrounds.

It works by showing us different colors on the map. Each color means something different. For example, red might mean that there's a really dangerous chemical in that area and we should be very careful. Yellow might mean that there's something there that we should be aware of, but not necessarily worried about all the time.

Sometimes people use Toxmap to study how different chemicals can affect our health. Scientists can use it to find patterns and try to figure out if certain places or communities might be more at risk for getting sick because of the chemicals around them.

Overall, Toxmap is like a superhero map that helps us stay safe and healthy by giving us information about the different chemicals in our environment.
