Tanka people

Tanka people are a group of people who live in China and are also known as the boat people. Their ancestors were farmers and fishermen who lived in the Southern part of China a long time ago. But because of wars and natural disasters, they had to leave their homes and move to live on boats in the sea.

The Tanka people have a very unique lifestyle, as they live on their boats and spend their days fishing, selling their catch, and trading with other boat people. They have their own language, culture, customs, and beliefs.

Their boats are their homes, and they have everything they need on board, like kitchens, bedrooms, and even small gardens. They have learned to adapt to the sea's challenges, such as rough weather and strong tides, and have developed amazing boating skills.

The Tanka people are known for their delicious seafood dishes, which they prepare on their boats. They also have their own way of dressing, dancing, and singing, and they celebrate their traditions and festivals.

Even though their way of life may seem strange to some people, the Tanka people are proud of their heritage and are an important part of China's cultural diversity. Today, many Tanka people live on land, but they still hold on to their traditions and keep their unique lifestyle alive.
