Tataki

Tataki is a yummy food that comes from Japan. It is usually made with fish or beef. The meat is first quickly cooked over a high heat, and then chilled immediately. This makes the outside of the meat really crispy and the inside super tender.

So, imagine you have a big piece of beef or fish. You put it on a really hot pan, and cook it for just a little bit of time. Then, you put it in the freezer to get it very cold. After that, you cut it into thin slices and you can eat it with yummy sauces or spices.

Tataki is a really special way to cook meat or fish because it keeps the flavors and juices inside, so it tastes really good. It’s like you get the best of both worlds - crispy on the outside, tender on the inside! Yum!
